This aid focused on energy, economic growth including agriculture, community stabilization of underdeveloped areas, education and health.
He also proposed to hold a 'Biryani' festival in USA by REAP members, which would be instrumental to increase the rice exports to USA. USA Consul General Grace W. Shelton appreciated the proposal of Rahim Janoo for holding 'Biryani' festival and assured to extend full cooperation. She thanked Rahim Janoo for organising a wonderful gathering in her honour and said the USA would continue to extend their support for the betterment of trade. Then, question-answer session was held. Some leading rice exporters asked various technical questions which were answered by Frank P. Talluto, Economic Officer of USA Consulate, who accompanied the Consul General.
