MULTAN: Ambassador of Argentina Republic to Pakistan Ivan Invanissevich said that Argentina will continue to promote and strengthen its ties with Pakistan through maximum cooperation and exchanging different cultural programmes.
While holding a press conference at local press club here on Saturday, the ambassador said that Argentina, in collaboration with Paraguay and Pakistan, would conduct cultural programme in Multan in which popular Tango dance would be presented.
Tango dance represents life as it gives message of love and peace.
To a question about holding of this event in Multan, he stated that the local area is culturally rich. Sufism (mysticism) is very popular in the region. It has immense attraction and represent life's celebration.
Although, Tango dance has nothing to do with mysticism but it offer pleasure. Ivan Invanissevich observed that local people would surely enjoy Tango dance.
Earlier, different cultural programme have been arranged in Islamabad in Lahore. On this occasion, honorary councillor general of Paraguay Kanwar Tariq and president Multan Press Club Shakeel Anjum were also present.
