FCCI lauds private sector role in defence production process

imageFAISALABAD: Engineer Ahmed Hassan, vice president, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), here Saturday said that active participation of private sectors in domestic armament industry has played a major role in making Pakistan self-reliant in defence production in addition to export the surplus and state-of-the-art and hi-tech weapons.

He participated in the 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS)-2016 in Karachi and upon his return here today, he said that the exhibition proved very successful in showcasing Pakistani manufactured weaponry.
