ISLAMABAD: A lower court of Islamabad Wednesday adjourned hearing of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case till December 14.
The court sought reply from Station House Officer (SHO) Aabpara and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad regarding the attachment of the property of former president Pervaiz Musharaf due to his absence in the case.
Additional Session Judge (ASJ) Islamabad, Pervez ul Qadir Memon reassumed hearing on miscellaneous application filed by Haroon Rasheed s/o Ghazi Abdul Rasheed in Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case for attachment of property of General (Retd) Musharaf.
The counsel for the petitioner, Tariq Asad argued that on September 17, 2016 the court passed an order to attach property of former president due to his continues absence from the court proceedings but SHO Aabpara and the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad did not implement the order so far.
He prayed the court to direct SHO Aabpara and DC Islamabad to appear before the court and submit progress report in this regard.
After hearing the arguments, the court served notices to SHO Aabpara and DC Islamabad and adjourned the case till December 14.
