ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday said that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif did his job very well and made the country's defence impregnable.
Talking to media persons in the Parliament House, he said, "General Raheel Shareef is pro-democratic and he has set a good example by not seeking extension in service."
"We are proud of him. He proved his abilities in the war against terrorism and stood tall amongst his contemporaries," Abid Sher Ali lauded.
His commitment also added to respect of Pakistan Army as he served the nation and Pakistan Army with valour and dedication, he said. "He (COAS) is a brave general as he challenged the enemies of Pakistan. Generals like him are born after centuries. His services for elimination of terrorism would be remembered in the history forever," the Minister said.
