Lahore Stock Exchange index surge by 12.62 points
LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange gained 12.62 points on Wednesday, as LSE-25 index opened with 3267.99 and closed at 3280.61 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.237 million shares to close against previous turnover of 4.104 million shares, showing a difference of 133,533 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 20 moved up, 58 remained equal and 25 shed values.
Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Engro Foods Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs3.27, Rs2.91 and Rs1.20 respectively.
MCB Bank Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Millat Tractors Limited lost their per share value by Rs2.30, Rs2.10 and Rs2.00 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Lotte Pakistan Limited with turnover of 1.880 million shares, Fatima Fertilizer Company with 444,918 and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 400,075 shares.
