International conference on 'Logistics, Supply Chain Management'

LAHORE: Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA), Air Cargo Agents Association of Pakistan (ACAAP) and Publicity Channel are jointly organizing an international conference and exhibition on 'Logistics and Supply Chain Management' here next month.

The Conference Administrator Tauqir Khan Lodhi and Director Mahmood Tareen told APP here on Friday that the event aimed at promotion of reforms in the sector, latest development and trends. Business strategy, interaction among experts and logistic sector, Balancing, Modernization & Replacement (BMR), Technical infrastructure, problems being faced by the logistic companies and most importantly the exchange of ideas that how to cooperate with each other to create a level playing field for this sector.

He said that logistics and supply chain management companies, ports and shipping, airlines, road and rail transports, import and export companies, freight forwarders, terminal operators and experts of various relevant businesses would be participating in this conference.
