Al-Shifa founder passes away

al_shifa_hospitalISLAMABAD: The founder of Al-Shifa International Hospital and its trust, President and Chief Executive Officer Dr Zaheer Ahmed passed away here last night.

The funeral prayers of the deceased would be offer today evening 4:30 and will be buried in H-8/4 graveyard, says a press release here Friday.

Dr Zaheer was admitted from the last week in the hospital due to the brain hemorrhage, last night his condition was very serious.

Dr Zaheer was 63 year old, he left behind four children including two daughters, two sons and a spouse.

He completed the education from USA and came back to Pakistan in 1980.
