ISLAMABAD: Chinese Vice Premier Meng Jianzhu arrived here on Monday on a two-day official visit to hold talks with the Pakistani leadership.

The Chinese vice premier was received by Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Pakistan's Ambassador to China Masood Khan, at Chaklala Airbase here.

Vice Premier Jianzhu will hold talks with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and attend a banquet hosted in his honour by President Asif Ali Zardari.

He will also meet the top military brass.
