28 Wheat procurement centers set up in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: As many as 28 wheat procurement centers have been set up in district.

According to the sources of Food Department, approximately 277,000 ton wheat would be procured from the district at the rate of Rs. 1300 per mond (40 kilograms).

As many as 10 gunny bags would be provided per acre to the growers.

Food Department has made arrangements to ensure transparency in procurement of wheat.
