KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of renowned Qawal Maqbool Sabri. He died in South Africa on Wednesday.

In a condolence message here on Wednesday, remembering his services for the promotion of Qawali, an Eastern music genre, the governor said that the gap created by his death in the field could not be filled for a long time.

The governor prayed Allah Almighty for the deliverance of the departed soul and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
