Apple’s latest flagship the smaller 4 inch iPhone SE, has been topping headlines all thanks to its impressive specifications, but more so because of its remarkable battery performance.
Apple’s cheapest iPhone to date, with a price tag of $399, it comes packed with the latest A9 processor and top notch camera tech, it does all this with an improved battery life, way better than the its nearest relative the iPhone 5S and 6S.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Geoffrey Fowler, who writes that the device’s battery life is by far the device best selling point.
“Unlike many other recent Apple products, the iPhone SE’s is a significant improvement over its predecessors’,” Fowler writes. “In my lab stress test, which cycles through websites with uniform screen brightness, the SE lasted 10 hours—more than two hours longer than both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 5s, and nearly three hours longer than the Galaxy S7.”
This is quite impressive, fot the Apple’s newest flagship despite coming with a trade off in the form of smaller display than the iPhone 6s.
However, it should be noted as per MacRumors, that the iPhone SE has a lower-resolution (1,136-640) display, as compared to the iPhone 6s’ larger 4.7-inch (1,334-750) screen and, much lower resolution than the Galaxy S7?s 5.1-incher (2,560-1,440).
