All segments of society to help in relief efforts: Palejo
ISLAMABAD: Provincial Minister Sindh and leader Pakistan People's Party, Sassi Palejo has said that all segments of society including NGOs will have to come forward in support of the government to provide relief to flood victims.
Talking to a state run Radio channel, Sassi Palejo hailed President Asif Ali Zardari's move to hold meeting with business and industrial community in Karachi.
She said that there was a good response from the industrial community.
She added that it is the first priority of the government to rescue people of flood hit areas. She said that Prime Minister's visit and armed forces of Pakistan are source of encouragement for flood victims but still a lot needs to be done.
