KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh have arrested 18 suspects and recovered 168 weapons during raids and targeted operation during the last 48 hours.

An official news release issued here on Monday said, the Rangers during raids seized 168 weapons of different kinds including Kalashnikov, SMGs, 7 MM rifles and TT pistols from different areas of the city.

The Rangers also arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in extortion, from Landhi Town.

The Rangers after initial interrogation freed some persons while remaining ones have been handed over to police for further investigation.
