NEW YORK: US top-rated municipal bond yields were little changed on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve said it is raising its key policy rate for the first time in nearly a decade, according to a preliminary scale read from Municipal Market Data (MMD).
Yields rose up to 1 basis point in the 2019 to 2022 maturity and were unchanged in both shorter and longer dated maturities, MMD said. The ten-year top-rated muni bond last yielded 1.98 percent, according to MMD data.
