imageMILAN: Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has warned interested clubs off the trail of Daniele Rugani, claiming the Turin giants' emerging centre-back could emulate Giorgio Chiellini by remaining at the club for the next decade.

Juventus starlet Rugani reportedly remains on the shopping list of Manchester United and Arsenal after shining for Empoli while on loan at the Serie A club last season.

The 21-year-old has been given few chances by Allegri, leading to speculation the Italian champions could soon buckle to clubs willing to pay good money who are also willing to help the defender reach his senior potential.

But Allegri, speaking after his side claimed a fourth consecutive Serie A win with a 3-0 away defeat of Palermo on Sunday, said Rugani is going nowhere.

"He'll be at Juventus for 10 years because he represents the future of our club," Allegri told Sky Sport.

Apart from goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, Chiellini is Juve's longest-serving player having joined from Fiorentina in time for the 2005-2006 season.

Chiellini, 31, has been showing signs of wear of late and Allegri hinted Rugani's time to replace one of Juve's defenders -- three of whom play for Italy -- could come in the not-too-distant-future.

"Right now three Italy team players are ahead of him (Rugani) so it's difficult to give him space, but his time will come," pledged Allegri.

"I like how he is training, he is coming on really well."

Juventus moved up to fifth place to sit six points behind leaders Inter Milan ahead of their top-of-the-table clash at Napoli, who sit second at two points adrift, on Monday.
