Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s baby girl is named James, the actor confirmed. Three months after his daughter made her way into the world, Ryan Reynolds has revealed the name that he and his wife Blake Lively have chosen for their little one.
According to foreign media reports, the couple, who welcomed their daughter in December, was hesitant to share her name in the past, but Reynolds, explains his reasoning behind the big reveal. “I didn’t want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media. Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, ‘Why did you do that?”, he said.
‘The X-Men’ actor said in an American TV show that fatherhood is ‘the best’ and that he never expected to feel so protective over his daughter.
Reynolds portrayed superhero Hal Jordan in Warner Bros film ‘Green Lantern’, released on June 17, 2011 in 3D. In 2012, he portrayed an agent in ‘Safe House’ alongside Denzel Washington. Reynolds also portrayed Nick Walker in the Universal Pictures film adaptation of ‘Dark Horse Comics’ which was released in 2013.
