ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday said that government was committed to implement its Economic and Governance Reforms agenda under the Vision 2025.
The President was talking to Rashid Bashir Head of Strategic Consulting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, Middle East, who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President said that the effective implementation and pursuance of the development road-map outlined under the Vision 2025 has the potential to usher in a period of progress and prosperity in the country.
He said that overseas Pakistanis play an important role in the development of Pakistan. The President said that situation in Pakistan was improving and the government was committed to revive the economy.
The President said that the vision 2025 also focuses on an important area of regional development through connectivity. China- Pakistan Economic Corridor offers a unique opportunity to Pakistan to integrate with regional developments and become a hub for regional trade and commerce, added the President.
Rashid Bashir thanked the President for meeting.
