PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' 3-year Treasury bond fell to 2.93 percent at an auction on Wednesday from 3.11 percent at a previous sale in January, the central bank said.
The Bank of Mauritius sold all the 1.4 billion rupees ($42 million) worth of debt it had offered.
Bids totalled 3.425 billion rupees with yields ranging from 2.70 percent to 3.25 percent.
The bond has a coupon rate of 3.10 percent and is due on December 5, 2017.
