LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 34.89 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5569.33 points and closed at 5604.22 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.554 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.240 million shares, showing an upward move of 314,600 shares. While, out of the total 79 active scrips 19 moved up, 14 shed values and 46 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Hascol Petroleum Limited and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.01, Rs 1.97 and Rs 1.10 respectively.
Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited and Chashma Sugar Mills Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 2.29, Rs 1.15 and Re 0.50 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Sui Southern Gas Company Limited with 538,500 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 314,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 268,500 shares.
