Peshawar-blastPESHAWAR: Three people were killed and five other injured in a remote-controlled explosion near the Hujra of a member of the local peace committee in Mathani, a suburban locality of Peshawar city here on Monday evening.

According to an official of Police Station Mathani, the explosive material was planted in a vehicle that was blown up through a remote-control explosion near the Hujra of Ejaz Khan, a member of the people committee.

The injured and dead bodies were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
