Yemen arrests several over Saleh assassination bid

yemenSANAA: Yemeni authorities have arrested several people suspected of involvement in an assassination attempt against President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Al Methaq newspaper reported on Monday.

The ruling party newspaper said authorities were questioning the suspects, without giving further details.

Saleh was severely wounded earlier this month during an attack on the presidential palace in Sanaa and is now being treated in Saudi Arabia.
