PM scheme of granting loan as beneficial for youth

Published Updated

imageISLAMABAD: Former Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's scheme of granting loan of Rs100,000 to Rs2 million to youth will be transparent, as the loans will be provided through commercial banks.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that these banks are private and the government can only intervene for making policies.

Renowned economist Khwaja Amjad Saeed has also said there are two issues related to our youth; one is education and the other is unemployment in the country.

He hoped that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Youth Schemes will help resolve both the issues; however, there is need of motivating the youth for availing the opportunity in appropriate manner.
