PESHAWAR: Former Chief Minister and Member National Assembly (MNA), Amir Haider Khan Hoti here Tuesday termed the allegations leveled by his father Senator Azam Khan Hoti against ANP leadership as totally baseless and unfounded.
Addressing a press conference here at Press Club, Amir Haider Khan Hoti said all the allegations leveled by his father against party leadership and his maternal uncle, Asfandyar Wali Khan was baseless and unjustified.
He said political differences developed between his father and maternal uncle over a personal and purely domestic issue, adding it is being politicized.
He said leveling allegations against ANP leadership was not a new phenomenon as we had bravely faced such assertions both in democratic and dictatorial regimes in the past. He said not an individual rather the party decides about all issues.
In the press conference he was accompanied by Senator Afrasaib Khan Khattak, former Information Minister, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, ANP Parliamentary leader in KP Assembly, Sardar Hussain Babak and others stalwarts.
On Monday, former Senior leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Azam Khan Hoti has made serious allegations against party president, Senator Asfandyar Wali Khan, declaring him responsible for killing of about 800 ANP workers and poor performance of party in 2013 general election.
