LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 4.62 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 5068.91 and closed at 5073.53 points.
The market's overall situation corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 7.232 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.023 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.208 million shares. While, out of the total 97 active scrips, 36 moved up, 48 remained equal with 13 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 12.45, Rs 7.36 and Rs 6.50 respectively.
Nimir Industrial Chemical Limited, Pakistan International Airline and Pakistan Tele Communication Limited lost their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 0.88 and Re 0.27 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 989,500 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement Limited with 700,500 shares and Pakistan Tele Communication Limited with 671,500 shares.
