LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 6.62 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4621.63 and closed at 4628.25 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.069 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.966 million shares, showing an upward move of 103,450 shares. While, out of the total 91 active scrips, 31 moved up, 43 remained equal with 17 shed values.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 8.80, Rs 6.60 and Rs 5.00 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited and D.G.Khan Cement Company lost their per share value by Rs 6.82, Re 0.61 and Re 0.58 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 726,500 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 593,500 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 423,000 shares.
