LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 39 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4288.35 and closed at 4327.35 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.084 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.949 million shares, showing an upward move of 3.135 million shares. While, out of the total 96 active scrips, 32 moved up, 53 remained equal with 11 down values.
Engro Corporation Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.48, Rs 4.00 and Rs 2.65 respectively.
Maple Leaf Cement Factory, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Dewan Salman Fibre Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.11, Re 0.10 and Re 0.07.
The Volume Leader of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 1.681 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 1.218 million shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 571,000 shares.
