KARACHI: Teenage Canadian popstar Justin Bieber is reported to be the latest celebrity to book a spaceflight aboard Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic.
Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun were revealed to be enrolled, when British entrepreneur Richard Branson tweeted the teenage pop sensation and his manager are the latest ‘future astronauts’. The popstar in return tweeted “let’s shoot a music video in SPACE!!”
Reportedly, the space flights are slated to begin next year and have drawn attention from several high profile passengers including Stephen Hawking, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ashton Kutcher who happened to have been the 500th person to sign up.
The two-pilot spaceship reportedly costs $250,000 and will allegedly take passengers to an altitude of roughly 68 miles, giving them a glimpse of the Earth from Space!
