Bahrain bought about 25,000 tonnes Australian wheat

Published Updated

HAMBURG: A buyer in Bahrain purchased about 25,000 tonnes of wheat thought likely to be sourced from Australia in a tender for the same volume this week, European traders said on Thursday.

The tender had closed on Tuesday, with offers having to remain valid until Wednesday.

Some 15,000 tonnes of hard wheat and 10,000 tonnes of semi hard wheat were bought for shipment in October, they said.
