KARACHI: Four ships carrying container, furnace oil and edible oil were berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal on Monday.
Meanwhile two more ships carrying container also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 55% at the Port on Tuesday where total six ships namely Maersk Columbus, Nysted Maersk, Capital, Tamil Nadu, M.T Lahore and Maritime Lira are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, urea, fertilizer, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 99515 tonnes comprising 80888 tonnes import and 18627 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2100 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
