Rs 1500 prize bond draw held in Multan

imageMULTAN: The 66th draw of Rs 1500 denomination prize bonds was held at the auditorium of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Multan on Monday.

First prize of Rs 2 million went to bond number '532148', the spokesman for National Savings Multan region, said Asghar Shah Bukhari. Three prize bonds including '413903', '523301' and '912440' won the second prize while 1696 prize bond numbers won the third prize.

Speaking on the occasion, regional director, Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) Multan region, Muhammad Jahangir Shahid said that saving schemes not only help individuals in times of need but also contribute to strengthen the national economy. Every scheme introduced by CDNS gives profit, he added.

Chief Manager, SBP Multan Malik Muhammad Ashraf Khokhar said that people should invest in CDNS schemes fearlessly as government was the guarantor and provides protection to investment and the return.

Representatives from Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Mirza Ahmad Ali and Naveed Iqbal, chief manager Ashraf Khokhar and deputy managers Allah Bakhsh and Izhar Hussain from SBP Multan, and Syed Asghar Hussain Bukhari, Malik Arshad Laang, and Malik Arsalan Aslam attended the draw ceremony while representing CDNS Multan.

Chairman Draw Committee Nasarullah Goraya, while addressing the ceremony, underlined the need for launching an awareness campaign regarding saving schemes to attract more and more people to invest in CDNS schemes.
