Nestlé Pakistan has been declared an ISO 22000 company in recognition of its continuing excellence in quality and food safety. The four factories of Nestlé Pakistan and its milk collection facilities are now ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System) certified, said a press released here on Tuesday.
ISO 22000 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organisation in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption. The certificate has been awarded through a third party auditor, following quality audits, and after having applied the highest international standards for food safety and quality.-PR
