The President, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has approved 12 Commissioners for the Phase-II matches of Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) being held from October 8 to December 6.
Model Town Football Academy (MTFA)'s Chief Coach, Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar will act as Match Commissioner during the home matches of Pak Elektron Limited (PEL).
'PFF has also approved PEL's request to change the venue of two matches.
PEL's authorities consider the MTFA ground lucky for their campaign in reaching the A-division soccer last year.
As per new schedule, now they will play their home matches against Afghan FC on November 2 and KESC on November 5, 2008 on this lucky ground,' said Asghar.
Earlier, Raiders FC Ground (Faisal Town) was the venue for the matches, added Asghar who coached Pakistani teams during 30th Asian Youth U19 Championship 1996 in New Delhi and 8th Asian Under 16 Championship 1998 in Hyderabad Deccan.
Other match commissioner in Lahore Centre will be Arif Siddiqui, FIFA Referee of 1993-96, who will look after Wapda's home matches. Siddiqui was also the manager of Pakistan U13 team, 2007 and FIFA Referee 2000-01.
80 out of 182 matches of PPFL were completed from 22 July to 1 September 2008 and remaining 102 will be played between Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. As per the break-up: matches will be played in Rawalpindi 27, Islamabad 26, Karachi 22, Lahore 17, Faisalabad 8 and Chaman 2

Karachi: Abdul Shakoor Baloch (Peoples Sports Complex), Qamar Yar Khan (Korangi Baloch Stadium), Ahmed Ali (Pak Steel Township Ground), Mastan Khan (CDGK Stadium)
Lahore: Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar (PEL's home matches at Model Town Football Academy Ground and Railway Stadium), Arif Siddiqui (Railway Stadium)
Faisalabad: Mian Abdul Bari (PMC Ground)
Chaman: Ghulam Muhammad Samad (High School Ground, Taj Road)
Rawalpindi: Nasir Kiyani (KRL Stadium), Qazi Muhammad Asif (Army Sports Complex)
Islamabad: Shahid Ahmed Khan (Naval Complex), Irfan Khan Niazi
(PSB Ground near Hamidi Hall, Islamabad).
