Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan Mrs Ann Wilkens has said that trade ties between Sweden and Pakistan were developing but there was still quite an untouched potential in several sectors like politics, commerce, culture and development co-operation. Addressing a seminar on "Export Market - Sweden" at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on Thursday she said the seminar purpose was to introduce Sweden as export market to the business community of Sialkot and to pass on some information as how to penetrate in Swedish market.
Mrs Ann Wilkens was confident that holding of seminars for introducing Sweden as market for Pakistani exporters, in main commercial hub of the country Sialkot, and the effort would mark a new chapter in the commercial relations between Sweden and Pakistan.
She pointed out that seminar was also a follow up to the visit of Swedish Trade Mission to Pakistan in November last, which attracted substantial interest among Swedish businessmen for emerging market in Pakistan.
