KARACHI: The Returning Officer on Saturday approved nomination papers of PML-F candidate Kamran Tassori and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) candidates Naimatullah Khan, Ex-Nazim Karachi, Miraj-ul-Huda and Abdul Aziz for NA-250.
The nomination forms of Mehfooz Yar Khan of Awami Muslim League have also been approved for the same constituency.
The nomination papers of PML-F leader Shafi Awan, Ishfaq Baloch of JI and Ghinwa Bhutto of PPP (SB) were also found in order and approved by the Returning Officer for NA-248 seat, while nomination papers of Kashif Ali of PML-N was approved for NA-249.
The nomination papers of Qari Sadaqat, an independent candidate, were accepted for PS-103.
The nomination papers of PML-N candidates Farooq Awam and Najma Baji, Sultan Bahadur were accepted for PS-108, PS-109 and PS-111, respectively.
The candidature of a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Farooq Ghanchi and Mehmood Junejo were also approved for PS-108 and PS-110 respectively while the candidature of Awami Muslim League (AML) Humayun Usman for PS-113 was also okayed by the Returning Officer.
