SIALKOT: A day-long awareness-raising workshop on "The challenges and problems of Sialkot’s Surgical industry and their solution" would be held at a local hotel on Thursday.
The participants will evolve a joint effective strategy so that the industry could flourish by rescuing it from its prevalent situtation.
Federal Minister for Industry and Production Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani will preside over the event. The Chief Executive of EDB Aitzaz A. Niazi, Chairman TEVTA Basit Rauf, Director Trade Development Authority of Paksitan (TDAP) Shehzad Alam and as many as 700 representatives of surgical industry and 300 guests are expected to attend this workshop, to be organized jointly Engineering Development Board (EDB) and Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association (SIMA) of Pakistan.
