RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46700.60 with a negative change of 173.77 and volume of 59,360,890 shares.

High and Low were 46874.37 and 46048.07 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 122,933,170 shares with 304 total traded companies out of which 64 were up, 228 were down and 12 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,578,100 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 13,104,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Kot Addu PowerXD with a volume of 4,042,500 and price per share of 74.00 (0.36), Bal.Glass with a volume 2,880,500 of price per share of 18.77 (0.42), Pak ElektronXD with a volume 2,695,000 of price per share of 93.20 (1.32).

The top three advancers were Indus Dyeing with price per share 734.00 (34.00), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 2080.00 (24.95) and Mari Petroleum share of 1511.01 (11.61).

The top three decliners were Atlas Battery with price per share of 897.76 (47.23), Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 855.01 (44.99) and Wyeth Pak LtdXD per share of 2280.00 (41.56).
