The benchmark palm oil contract for June delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose 25 ringgit, or 0.68%, to 3,675 ringgit ($888.97) a tonne by the midday break, after falling 3% in the previous session.
The benchmark palm oil contract for June delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 53 ringgit, or 1.42pc, to 3,790 ringgit ($915.46) a tonne during early trade, its highest since March 25.
The benchmark palm oil contract for May delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed up 37 ringgit, or 1.02%, at 3,679 ringgit ($908.62) a tonne.
CGS-CIMB pegged crude palm oil output at 1.13 million tonnes, little changed from the previous month.
