Qureshi said a Saudi delegation will visit Pakistan after Eid to discuss matters pertaining to the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince and Foreign Minister to Pakistan.
The two foreign ministers welcomed signing of Agreement on Establishing Pakistan Saudi Arabia Supreme Coordination Council co-chaired by the Prime Minister and Saudi Crown Prince.
The two dignitaries agreed to work towards strengthening cordial relations between the two countries.
They reviewed every aspect of bilateral relations, discussing ways to enhance cooperation in diverse areas including trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, tourism, and manpower.
Canada has suspended all flights from Pakistan for 30 days.
Qureshi apprised his counterpart of the effective measures taken by Pakistan to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 and urged that Canada reconsider its decision of suspending flights from Pakistan.
Qureshi said the government of Pakistan was being compelled to enforce “smart lockdowns” in virus hotspots as the vulnerable population was again at risk.
