PM Khan took to Twitter to extend his sympathies with the neighboring country where the second wave of coronavirus is running rampant after the Kumbh festival.
Before him, several government ministers, including Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and Fawad Chaudhry also showed sympathies with the Indian people.
He said he had started a campaign that joined together heads of state of Muslim countries against blasphemy.
He said Pakistan was formed in the name of Islam, adding that no one should cast doubt about any other person as to how deeply he respected the Prophet (PBUH).
"I also call on Western govts who have outlawed any negative comment on the holocaust to use the same standards to penalise those deliberately spreading their message of hate against Muslims by abusing our Prophet PBUH," the PM tweeted.
We Muslims cannot tolerate any such disrespect and abuse, the PM said.
Pakistan has been omitted both from the Leaders Summit on Climate as well as the list of leaders who will hold talks with Special Presidential Envoy for climate John Kerry.
"The symptoms take a few days before manifesting. Hence it is certain that PM had been infected PRIOR to vaccination. So please do vaccinate," Umar tweeted.
On Saturday, SAPM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for coronavirus.
"Many nations before you were destroyed when there was one law for the powerful and another for the weak," the PM said while quoting the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The premier added that without justice and rule of law, states disintegrate because once moral authority is lost, deal making (NRO) with the powerful criminals is resorted to.
On Wednesday, Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Yousuf Raza Gilani won the Senate seat from Islamabad, defeating PTI's Hafeez Sheikh.
Qureshi said that the PM had taken the decision to seek a vote of confidence with a view to making it clear as to who is standing with Khan’s ideology and who is not.
