The PIA administrations has directed staff to distribute the health declaration form onboard the flight to all passengers arriving at the kingdom with immediate effect.
General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) updated its health disclaimer form for all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.

Intermediate, matric exams to be held from July-August in Sindh: Saeed Ghani

The board exams for matric will be from July 1 to July 15, while intermediate exams will be from July 28 to August 16, said Ghani.
Exams for students of pre-primary to class eight will be conducted in June.

Mysterious flying object in Rahim Yar Khan sky turns out to be a ‘lenticular cloud’

The scientist confirmed that what Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pilot saw in the air earlier this week was not a flying saucer, but a cloud called lenticular cloud.
"The pilot observed a visual process in the air. The object visible to the pilot was a lenticular cloud. Commercial pilots often observed such clouds," he said.

The ongoing academic session will be extended till July instead of March with new classes to commence from August 2.
The in-house annual exams for classes one to seven will be held from June 1 to 15.

Alarming increase in COVID-19 positivity rate witnessed in three Karachi districts

The data of the department showed that District Korangi recorded a rate of 2% last week, which rose to 16% on January 28, while District Malir recorded a rate of 2%, which rose to 9%.
District Central recorded a rate of 4%, which has risen to 15%, while the lowest increase has been recorded in District West — which witnessed an increase from 3% to 4%.

The authority also added six more countries to the C category list including South Africa, UK, Portugal, Ireland and Brazil.
The category C international passengers now have to show Covid-19 report upon arrival and they will undergo another assessment of the virus in Pakistan, says CAA.
