The minister who also leads the Pakistani delegation at the FATF, in a series of tweets said Pakistan completed with 24 out of 27 items rated as largely addressed and remaining three items partially addressed.
Weeks ago, there was a one-day face-to-face talk between Pakistan and the FATF, in which the Pakistani delegation was led by Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar.
He also urged the provincial governments to continue taking necessary steps to ensure provision of basic items at affordable prices across the country.
Azhar was of the view that owing to measures taken by the incumbent government and institutions, the country was able to convert the COVID-19 crisis into an opportunity.
The minister said the government had announced immense packages for business sector, adding, the construction of new factories would improve the national economy.
The minister lauded the efforts of the ministries, department concerned and provincial governments for keeping the prices of essential commodities in check.
He congratulated the business community for the new airline which he hoped would create a competitive atmosphere for PIA to bring efficiency in services.
