“When you come to like a PSL or the Sri Lankan Premier League (SPL), for that matter, there is an importance on the cricket," says the Right-arm pacer.
“I have only been here for a couple of days and I have had people in and out of my room, just wanting to know about where I have played and how I went about it. Whereas, when I go to something like the IPL that gets forgotten and the main topic is how much money did you go for in this IPL?” says Quetta Gladiator fast-bowler.
“I have played before for Islamabad [United] and won a title with them in Karachi. The support staff and the team management is very helpful. It was my wish to play for Islamabad United again. I hope that Islamabad [United] will lift the trophy again.”
“My role as a middle-order batsman is to take the game deep and finish it. So, I try to build the innings by scoring run-a-ball early on and then increase my scoring rate.”
United are the only side the of the PSL, who have won the tournament twice.
Hasan’s inclusion has meant Islamabad now has United the group of friends who are thick, namely captain Shadab Khan, all-rounder Faheem Ashraf and Hasan. Hasan and Faheem are currently in the form of their lives, and the leader in Shadab will, therefore, love to regain his touch and play a huge part in the fresh start.
