Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, she said several Members of National Assembly from opposition parties were also in contact with the treasury benches in this regard.
The parliamentary secretary said the opposition should not have any illusion as the National Assembly would approve the budget which was purely poor-friendly.
She said opposition parties had staged protest outside the office of National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar and chanted slogans and harassed him. Kanwal Shauzab said Prime Minister Imran Khan had clearly told the speaker not to succumb to any pressure by anyone.
She said the opposition was not worried about the poor masses of the country and only wanted to save themselves and their corruption, adding that politics of inheritance was going to end.
