Court summons witnesses in EOBI corruption case

ISLAMABAD: A special judge central Thursday summoned the witnesses in a case pertaining to financial embezzlement in Employees Old Age Benefits Institute (EOBI) by its former head Zafar Gondal.

The special judge central Kamran Basharat Mufti resumed the hearing and ordered the Federal Investigation Agency to present the witnesses before the court on the next date of hearing.

The court also ordered all the accused to be present in the court on the next hearing along with their counsels.

The accused Zafar Gondal was allegedly involved in billions of rupees corruption in EOBI funds.
