Mayor Karachi assures support to youth federation

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar said no  nation can progress without giving opportunities to its youths  and in our system youths hardly ever get the opportunity to  progress, as he assured all possible cooperation to Karachi youth federation in its endeavors.

He was talking to a delegation of Karachi youth federation  which led by Umar Khan called on him in his office, said a statement  on Tuesday.

The delegation told the mayor about their various ongoing projects and training. The Mayor praised them and assured all  possible help and support in their positive and constructive  endeavors.

The Mayor will participate in the seminar to be held this month in the University of Karachi under the auspices of youth federation.

They agreed that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation would provide cooperation in their activities so youth energy could be mobilised for practical measures aimed at the beautification and progress of the city.

The Mayor Karachi said that citizens especially youth and well  off persons would have to play their role in the betterment of the  city.
