In his message in connection with Labour Day, Barrister Murtaza Wahab said upgrading the living standard of labourers and their families by strengthening labour laws was the priority of the Sindh

government.

Giving deserving credits to the labourer community, the adviser said the development and economic progress of our country would not have been possible without the tireless pains of our vital labour force.

He said Labour Day was an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Labour community.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab said following the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan Peoples Party under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari was striving for better standards of living for the working class.

The adviser said essential legislation would be done for the protection of rights of the working community.

He said the contribution of the country's workforce must be recognized as it was a vital pillar of our society.

He felicitated members of country's labour force working in both public and private sectors for their contribution and untiring struggle.

The adviser also reaffirmed the Sindh Government's commitment to protecting the dignity of labourers.
