Power breakdown affect 5 districts of Balochistan

QUETTA: A major breakdown of electricity affected five districts of Balochistan on Tuesday.

A 220KV Uch-Sibi transmission line tripped due to technical faults causing power breakdown in Quetta, Mastung, Bolan, Sibi and Killa Abdullah, said QESCO’s spokesman.

Citizens faced immense hardships due to suspension of electricity.

“Steps are being taken to remove faults and electricity has been provided to Quetta through alternate sources,” added spokesman.
