Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said that the government was committed to eliminate corruption as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He added that the slogan "Corruption-Free Pakistan" of Prime Minister Imran Khan had become the voice of the nation.
He said that the government was putting all its efforts to serve the masses with dedication and the government respected public opinion.
The CM said that a separate secretariat for south Punjab would be established. There would also be a separate Annual Development Programme for south Punjab, he added.
He said that promises made with the people of south Punjab would be fulfilled. The government was focusing on development of backward areas, he said, adding that development works would be carried out in all areas.
Every penny was being spent with utmost honesty on public welfare in the new Pakistan, he said.
The chief minister said that proposals and recommendations of public representatives would be given importance in public welfare projects.
