Guard group vows to promote motor sports

Guard group of companies has vowed to patronize and promote motor sports in Pakistan so as the game can achieve the recognition in the country as it is recognized world over. This was stated by the patron in chief of Pakistan Motor Racing Club (PMRC) and Chief Executive Guard Agricultural Research & Services, Shahzad Ali Malik at an event organised here on Saturday by the company to give prizes to its sponsored motorists who secured top positions in recently held 'Indus River Water Cross Challenge 2017.'
The challenge was arranged by the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Tourism Department in collaboration with the Pakistan Motor Racing Club in Swabi spreading over a track of 11 kilometer. As many as 107 motorists participated in four categories including one category each for women and bikers. Nosherwan Tiwana secured 1st position in Category A while Sajjad Qureshi secured 1st position in Category B and Sardar Hassan Sadiq won the race in Category C. Rida Naveed stood first in women category while Asma secured second position. All these motorists were sponsored by the Guard Group of Companies.
